Darrington Press have revealed their newest game project.
Their next game is titled Solar Gardens by game designer Alex Cutler and artist Daniel Clarke. The game is described as:
A light-hearted, tile-drafting board game where 2-5 players will take on the role of a visionary architect specializing in carbon-neutral engineering to build a rooftop garden in harmony with nature. Each square tile placed on your player board will require a sense of strategy and imagination to outwit your opponents and make your garden the most beautiful and environmentally conscious.
Within the game, you will be able to make a bunch of different rooftop garden designs, including:
- Tranquil Meditation Retreat
- Vibrant Urban Farm
- Cutting-Edge Solar-Powered Ecosystem
The other fantastic thing about the game is the finite amount of resources you’ll have access to. Those resources help with things like:
- Making An Efficient Garden With The Use Of Reusable Energy
- Focusing On Art And Animal Habitats With The Most Beautiful Garden
- Finding A Perfect Balance With The Most Beautiful Garden And A Long-Winding Path For Others To Enjoy It As Well
This is a beautiful game concept and is something that Darrington Press hasn’t made into a game yet. This is also a game concept that hasn’t been explored by a lot of game publishers.
The game is set for release this summer, with it releasing first to the US, UK, EU, AU, and CA Critical Role stores. At the same time of being released to the CR stores, it will also be released to Darrington Press Guild Stores and other Friendly Local Game Shops. The game will also be released on Amazon and to select retailers.
