This is the second to last episode of this fantastic series. In this episode, it is exploring the tragic story of Dr. Phosphorus (Alan Tudyk). Again, as I keep saying throughout the show, the direction and the stories that come each week about each character is fantastic. Dr. Phosphorus is a doctor who is working in the science field, and possibly has a cure for cancer. Dr. Phosphorus has a wife and child, and his wife was very wary about him working on this.
Spoilers Ahead.
As this is going on, The Bride of Frankenstein (Indira Varma) and Nina Mazurky (Zoe Chao) are running away from the guards. They end up at this brothel, where the girls help them out by hiding them. The lady in charge asks them if they ever wanted to do this work. The Bride of Frankenstein said that Nina and herself have more respect for themselves than that. The lady explains a parallel between what they do, killing people, to what they do as in sleeping with people.

Back to Dr. Phosphorus, he ends up meeting this little girl, who reminds him of his own child. Dr. Phosphorus has flashbacks as Rupert Thorne (Benjamin Byron Davis) approaches him and asks him about the work he is working on. Rupert has no mercy on him, and kills both his wife and child, because he didn’t give correct results about his experiment. At the end of this, they take his files and hard drive. They end up putting Dr. Phosphorus in the chamber that will atomize him.
Meanwhile, Rick Flag Sr. (Frank Grillo) is in a coma, and Amanda Waller (Viola Davis) is trying to figure out exactly what happened to him. Amanda is running out of time, because she knows that the Creature Commandos team will go and track down and kill the princess.
Focusing back on Nina and The Bride of Frankenstein, these two guys come in to use the brothel. One gets a little too aggressive, and Nina and the Bride end up defending the girl’s and ends up killing them. It seems there is now a mutual respect between the women of the brothel, and Nina and The Bride.
Weasel also has a side quest of some sort. He ends up playing and interacting with a pack of wolves. Weasel is dreaming about Princess Ilana (Maria Bakalova).and getting back to the palace. He ends up leaving the wolves and getting back with the crew.
One of the surprising things is that Dr. Phosphorus survives the atomizing, and seeks revenge. Which he is able to succeed in. I can understand his rage and his frustration, as he does the same thing to Rupert, that was done to him. When Dr. Phosphorus takes over Rupert’s estate, he is having a good time and partying, in the distance on the rooftop is Batman. This is the first time we see a glance of the hero, and officially introducing Batman into the DCU.
I give this episode a 10/10.
