The Herald is Angry
Galactus needs a Herald, and he finds himself offering that spot to Bruce Banner. Playing on Banner’s want to stop the Hulk from destroying Earth, Bruce reluctantly agrees. But he agrees under his terms, which are he wants to have an opportunity to save the people of the planet first.
Galactus sends Hulk to Elysion-3 to prepare for his arrival. As Bruce arrives to try and evacuate the citizens the Avengers show up. They try and stop the Hulk, but are they strong enough to take on the Hulk? Will the Hulk be able to save the citizens? Or will it all be for not?
Hulk vs Hulk Buster
Mat Groom writes an awesome take on what it would be like if the Hulk was the Herald. A lot of action, but also a lot of heart. The dichotomy between Bruce Banner and the Hulk drives the story. This is a very thought-provoking issue and would make for an awesome ongoing series.
The art in this book is simply phenomenal! Lan Medina gives you that familiar Marvel character design, well also giving it some flare. Juancho Velèz’s color pallet is amazing. The colors are bright and vibrant. Every panel jumps off the page and grabs your attention.

Final Thoughts
What If…? Galactus Transformed Hulk is an awesome one shot with a lot of heart. The only detraction is that we aren’t getting more of this. Bring this team back to write an Incredible Hulk series NOW! Highly recommend picking this up at your LCS this week.
