Welcome to the Jungle
The issue opens in Hell where two Hellspawns are burying the dead leftover from a battle with Angels. They must hide the bodies, so God doesn’t know how many Angels have perished. They please their Master who is pleased by the victory over Heaven, but she is also concerned about if Spawn will fulfill his end.
Spawn is plotting with Lyra on how they can take it to Bludd and the vampires. However, She-Spawn is not too keen on this plan. Spawn reassures her before leaving on his own to meet with Bludd. The plan goes to hell real fast, as it was a setup the whole time. Could this be the end of Al Simmons?
I Warned You
Todd McFarlane’s return to Spawn is glorious and has arrived at a pivotal point in the arc. Showing the struggle that Al is having without his powers, well Heaven, Hell, and the vampires turn up the heat. In true McFarlane fashion he pulls the rug from under our feet on the final pages of the issue.
The art in this book has that great Spawn look and feel. Every panel builds and looks amazing. The lettering is next level and gives every emotion you need.

Final Thoughts
Spawn #360 is one hell of a ride. The story that has been building over the past months is coming to roost. The final pages will have everyone at the LCS talking. This is a must own issue and Spawn should be on your Pull List going forward, if it’s not already.
Final Grade: 9.5/10
