The Story:

Hyperion is on a collision course with the Earth and it is up to the Avengers to find a way to stop him. The team is forced to make an impossible decision, save Hyperion or save the Earth!

The Writing:

Jed MacKay continues to craft a story worthy of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes! The character interactions and dynamics are interesting and engaging, the threat is dire, and the solution and conclusion were fantastic! One thing that I have been so very impressed with is the individual voices of these characters. Each is unique and true to the long history of these heroes. Everyone acts in a manner that I would expect them to, from Captain Marvel’s cold resolve to Vision’s calculated response. Wonderful work as always!

The Art:

The art team on this book has created scenes of wonder and delight. Each character, each setting, and each moment of this issue was produced with care and expertise. A few stand out moments include a melding of Mind, Body, and Soul and the resolution to Hyperion’s plan. I don’t want to spoil it, but the emotion on Hyperion’s face was beautiful! The cover, as always, is fantastic!

The Verdict 9.5/10

The creative team delivered another win this month. A solid story, excellent characters, and beautiful art make this a near perfect issue. Every Avengers fan should get on board and pick this one up!
