Black Widow Hawkeye by Marvel Comics

Natasha and Clint have officially been teaming up for sixty years! So, what better way to celebrate than seeing the pair together once again. However, Clint isn’t the only team up Natasha is currently engaging in. She also also has a new symbiote she’s bonded with, which can be both beneficial, and to their detriment.

The Story for Issue #1

This issue kicks off with Natasha interrogating someone with the help of her symbiote friend. She’s looking for Clint, and who better to ask questions to than the assassin (one of many) hired to kill him. The story then progresses while time moves backwards catching us up. However, as soon as we think we’re all caught up, Clint reveals a truth Natasha was not expecting.

The Art

This story took us to Russia, America, and Madripoor. Each with beautifully colored and detailed backgrounds, showcasing the characters perfectly. Additionally, the emotions of the characters were perfectly in sync with their expressions showing the concern and fear where needed. The cherry on top was the classic Hawkeye shot which always brings me back to the 2012 Avengers movie.

Black Widow Hawkeye Rating 9.5/10

The art nailed the scenery and the expressions of the characters, while the dialogue had me giggling anytime Hawkeye was shown. However, the comedy didn’t take away from the assassin level of danger that was occurring. I’ve always loved the relationship between these two, and this comic just furthered my love for them both. Any Black Widow/Hawkeye fan should 100% add this to their pull list!
