In the second issue of Underheist, it starts with David, who is wounded from the gun shot wound. His friend Lil, assists him with getting help and her knowing a doctor who can help patch him up.

David is still determined to figure out Lil’s story as to why she quit her job in the first place. It seems that David still doesn’t trust Lil, even though she had helped him.

After an argument with Lil, David is still investigating the money that seemed to go missing. David followed up with Doc, and plans to go back to his work to investigate. When David gets home, he discovers that Gabriella can walk, and she is out of her wheelchair.

They embrace and suddenly as they turn in for the night, David is having very scary and terrifying dream. When David returns to work, Doc didn’t show up. So, after work, David arrived at his house, to question him about the money. Doc is very out of it, and screamed at David. He thought that David told Oscar where the money is.

READ LAST ISSUE’S REVIEW

David starts to connect that both Oscar and Lil have an in on what happened to the money. All of a sudden, the comic ends with a cliffhanger, and Doc is deceased.

This second issue was wonderful, David really sets the pace of finding information about where the money is. David cares about people in general, and cares about his girlfriend.

It also seems that David has been running from either people, or situations that he ends up in. I like the coloring of the panels as well, because the panels gives a rush of urgency to the story. I am really rooting for David to get answers, and finally get the money.

Hopefully in the next issue, David will catch up with Lil and question her about where the money is. As well as follow Oscar’s whereabouts and approach him as well, to give answers.

I give this issue a 9/10.
