READ LAST ISSUE’S REVIEW!
This week, I am returning back to the Petrol Head world. First, acknowledging the creative team behind Petrol Head. Writer, Rob Williams and artist and cover artist, Pye Parr. Jumping back into the world, Petrol Head is on a mission yet again. He loves being able to race in his cars as fast as he can. Again, bringing a sort of confidence in himself, every time that he has an interaction.
Petrol Head is racing through the Smogzone, and alongside him is Sid, his assistant who thinks he drives entirely way too fast. Petrol Head also meets up with Lupa, and as the reader I get to check on how her father is doing. Lupa’s father is still recovering, but Lupa receives a bag, that will help the human race.Â
Petrol Head has to escort her out of the Smogzone, and it’s a daunting task. What I love is that there is a good relationship, between Petrol Head and Lupa
Even though Petrol Head acts like he doesn’t care, he definitely cares about her and her father. Petrol Head reaches out to an old acquaintance, Hybrid, to come and help. Hybrid doesn’t like Petrol Head, but, Hybrid is the only hope to get out of there.Â
At the end of this issue, it yet again leaves the end on a cliff hanger. Can Hybrid make it out? Can he help Petrol Head and Lupa get out? Yet again, what I love about Petrol Head is, its’ intenseness between the panels. I always feel like I am in a race, when I am reading. I also love the art that goes alongside with it. It’s a lot of fun to read and go along on an adventure with Petrol Head. I’m hoping to see more characters of the Petrol Head world, and I am rooting for Lupa to get to her final destination.Â
