It’s Season 1, Sam and Dean, and they can’t seem to stop the hits from coming from all angles, but suddenly, some of the hits are starting to make more sense.

The Story for SUPERNATURAL #6
In true Supernatural fashion, we kick off with a flashback, a blood splatter, and a back to the present with a NOW. A flashback that will remind any fan of the pie-loving Winchester brother. Back in the future, the boys continue to wonder what the hell is up with the car they stole. A desperate move due to a temporary hiatus of having to store Baby (the name for Dean’s 1967 Chevy Impala) for a bit.
As a new “friend” thought to be gone, returns, some pieces to this hectic puzzle of a never-ending case start to come together. However, how much the boys have actually been involved begins to be questioned.

The Art
Throughout this run, we’ve gotten different styles of art. Each has its own take on this world, much like the show. Supernatural #6 gave us a bit more color and a lot of action. Primarily involving cars. My favorite moments in the art of this issue had to be Dean’s expressions. While everyone was drawn and colored beautifully, Dean has a variety of faces in the show, and the dialogue mixed with those expressions perfectly captured season 1 Dean Winchester.

Final Thoughts
One of my favorite things about the show, Supernatural, is how they always seem to incorporate some sort of fun twist right when you think you have it all figured out. Or when you’ve reached the point of complete confusion. Supernatural #6 seems to be following the latter. While I’ve enjoyed every single comic in this run, there were parts where I wasn’t sure where a lot of the story was going. Or why certain things were happening. However, as we near the end of this run, all i’s are being dotted, and t’s are being crossed, and I’m loving it!
Overall Grade: 9.5/10
This road so far has been a winding one for sure, and it seems to be gearing up for even more possessed fun. The boys have definitely got work to do...
