The Story
Luna Snow is still recovering, like the rest of the world, from the hands of Doom being the World Emperor. Finding out that Doctor Doom was actually up to his villainous ways wasn’t easy, but moving on proves to be a little harder. The one thing Luna is able to rely on is her music career, so the show must go on! Once Luna’s concert starts, it becomes very clear that the fans have turned on her in the worst of ways.
Many are holding her accountable for all that happened with World Emperor Doom, and it seems she has no fans left. Right as the concert is being cut short, her manager fires her and brings in their own replacement, Vibe. Vibe seems like the exact opposite of Luna, and the fans eat her up.

So, it seems Luna is out of a job and already replaced, with no one on her side. Now she has to take her music career in her own hands and find a new path. It all seems to happen quickly, a little too quickly perhaps.
The Writing
Greg Pak brings a story of Luna Snow’s life after the turmoil Doctor Doom put the world through. Luna is held to blame from different groups of people with wildly different perspectives, and she isn’t made to deal with either. With her management ditching her, as well as her fandom, Luna is all on her own. Pak is able to show just how strong and independent Luna is when faced with alienation, which rings true until the very end.
Packed full of action and musical chaos, Luna Snow: World Tour #1 is a fun read from beginning to end. Personally, I would love to see her world tour continue with Greg Pak behind the story.
The Art
The artwork of Luna Snow: World Tour #1 is beautifully done all thanks to Ario Anindito, Takeshi Miyazawa, Yen Nitro and Joe Caramagna. With an excellent amount of detailing on every page, there are some panels where Luna practically pops off the page, especially when she’s against an abstract background. Complimenting the drawings very well is the vibrancy of the colorings on each page that have a great contrast with darker colors. Wrapping all the artwork in a perfect bow is the lettering that keeps the energy high through the dialogue. The artists did a superb job all around.
Final Thoughts
I would love to see Luna’s story continue, especially with the same creative team behind it. Luna Snow: World Tour #1 is a fun read that’s full of action, excitement, and musical chaos.
