Venom 253 has a unique perspective, where there are many characters that are established already. When it comes to Venom itself, it seems that Venom likes to jump from person to person. I love seeing M.O.D.O.K. and the robot that likes to cause havoc. M.O.D.O.K. likes to construct chaos that is throughout the entire comic. Mary Jane Watson also makes an appearance, which is interesting to see. I know throughout the comics, Mary Jane is very close, and it also is in a relationship with Peter Parker. There is also Flash Thompson, Madame Masque, and Paul Rabin.

When it comes to the story, I like how it is paced. I really enjoy Flash’s and Mary Jane’s dialogue throughout this issue. I also like when the Anti-Venom comes into play, and how sneaky the Anti-Venom gets onto people. I’m excited to see where the Anti-Venom lands, and hopefully there is more to the story in issue 254. As far as what I want to see story-wise, is I want to see more action in the next issue.

In terms of art, it has the classic Marvel Comic style. I always love how Marvel Comics looks, and it sets a standard on how comics should look. Gomez uses amazing colors, and makes Venom pop off the page. Especially when it comes to the cover art. I like Venom to look really menacing, and definitely I see that in the art. I also love the detail in Madame Masque’s suit. I always look forward to seeing artist’s unique stamp on a specific comic run.

Overall Grade: 9.5/10
