While at New York Comic Con this past weekend, we spoke to acclaimed actor Michael Chiklis about his future in the ever-expanding Marvel Cinematic Universe.
With the upcoming Avengers Doomsday featuring the Fantastic Four, Doctor Doom and a mutliverse, it would make sense that Chiklis and his former co-stars from the original Fantastic Four movies could come back for a nice cameo and homage to their impact in the superhero genre.
‘Marvel hasn’t approached us‘
Not so fast, says Chiklis.
“Marvel hasn’t approached us about it,” he said. “I promise I’m not lying, though if I was I know I couldn’t tell you.”
Though he would absolutely have to keep it a secret, he insisted that he and co-star Ioan Gruffudd, who played Mister Fantastic in the 2000’s movies, have not been included yet.

“If they did ask, we’d absolutely be open to it,” he added.
Chiklis did say that pay, timing and what their role would be would play a factor into them coming back.
He added that obviously the goal would to play a part that moves the story forward, not a cameo for the sake of a cameo.
