TONS OF MARVEL TV AND ANIMATION BREAKING NEWS TOOK PLACE AT NEW YORK COMIC CON AND WE GOT THE SCOOP FOR YOU!!
Brad Winderbaum, Head of Marvel, TV and Animation, spoke at a panel this weekend and detailed all the releases coming out in 2026 on Disney+. It’s going to be a HUGE year.
SPIDER-MAN
“We’re gonna be talking about a few NY characters today,” he said, introducing season 2 of Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man set for next year.
“It’s personified by this black oozy substance,” he said of season 2, referring to Venom of course.
A teaser of season 2 was shown with a few new faces like Gwen Stacy, Doc Ock and even the Chameleon.
The teaser ended with the biggest cameo – DAREDEVIL!

X-MEN 97
Next up, X-Men 97 with the second new season on Disney +. The new executive producers joined Brad on stage to talk about the acclaimed show, who both actually worked on the original show.
“We would not be here if fans had not found the show in the first place,” they said. “We can’t thank you all enough.”
The big news was they are green lit for season 3 before season 2 has even launched.
A season 2 trailer was then shown featuring Apocalypse and how the team is scattered across time, trying to get back to the 90s.
Season 2 drops next summer.
DAREDEVIL BORN AGAIN
Yet another trailer was shown featuring the return of Foggie, Jessica Jones and more! Yes, Foggie and Jessica are back!
“What’s up everyone,” Charlie Cox said, surprising everyone. “We love making the show, it’s such a joy to make. The longer we get to keep making it, the better.”
“I love this character,” he said.
WONDER MAN
Next we head to LA to talk about Wonder Man.
A quick teaser was shown as the leads Ben Kingsley and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II spoke about the show.
Yahya said he was excited to come over from DC and join this cast as Wonder Man.
Sir Ben regaled the audience about his days in Iron Man 3 up to now.
“It was a total surprise,” to return as Trevor Slattery.
Wonder-Man hits Disney+ on Jan 27!
VISIONQUEST
Last but not least, VisionQuest was introduced.
Paul Bettany came out to talk about being Vision again.
“The fans the love that I get from the fans … these shows are all made by fans for you by people like you!” He said.
“White Vision has the memories but is having a hard time connecting to who he was,” he added.
