It’s Heath and Abbey’s time to shine. Writer Heather Nuhfer, Artist Kellee Riley, and Letterer Johanna Nattalie have worked on a very awesome story.

As with the Bull’s Eye and Locketness Monster one-shots, Kellee’s art is so amazing in this story. The way she is able to make the art stand out is incredible. Between each character, and also Abbey’s Furry Fiends, it all ties together perfectly. Add in Johanna’s lettering work, and the story comes together.
Speaking of the story, Heather wrote such an interesting story for this one. I love getting to see how Heath is struggling to get Abbey to see him instead of his flames. Heather knows how to write these characters, and it shows throughout the story.
Now this story is interesting. Heath decides to trade his flames for fur and becomes a Love Monster. From there, it becomes this interesting story of self-identity. But it also shows just how far someone will go to be seen by someone who they are invisible to, and I really enjoy that with this story.
Overall Grade: 10/10
This is the 3rd reprinted story from IDW, and it is one of the best ones so far. Heath and Abbey’s story was also so interesting to me, and I love seeing them together in this.
