Eddie Brock Carnage #7
Eddie just discovered that Carnage is controlling his body while he’s asleep. That spells a nightmare for Eddie as the sadistic and twisted killer can’t be controlled if Eddie isn’t there to try and tame it.
Below are some questions that this issue might answer!

Key Details
“Who is in control, Carnage or Eddie Brock?”
“How does Muse fit into Carnage’s story?”
“Who is the green Phoenix in Eddie Brock’s dreams?”
Creative Team:
Writer: Charles Soule
Artist: Jesus Siaz
Color Artist: Matt Hollingsworth
Letters: VC’s Joe Sabino
Publisher: Marvel Comics
The Art:
The first half of the book is all action, so without much dialogue, Siaz really brings the story to life through his art.
Something about his art is approachable and accessible for all fans.
It has it’s own style without being too pretentious.
He especially draws Muse to perfection, a serial killer in a mask, which is not easy. Showing this mad man’s psychotic aspirations isn’t easy when his twisted face is covered.
The Amazing Spider-Man #8 – Giving It His All
The Writing:
Welp, Soule just delivers every single time out.
Muse is his creation, so obviously he knows how to write this villain to perfection.
But what he also does with the back and forth between Carnage and Eddie is something special. We’ve come to know and love the banter between Eddie and Venom, but this is a whole new task.
Until now, we haven’t gotten to know Carnage the way we know Venom. This series pulls back the bloody curtain on Carnage and his need to feed death.
He must kill, it’s not a desire or a want, it’s a necesity. It’s a fact.
And now Eddie must feed that compulsion or he will die!
Overall Grade: 9/10
This is easily one of my favorite runs currently. It’s fun, bloody, mature and keeps you guessing. We have so many discoveries to make moving forward and I can’t wait for next month!
