The Story for Issue 2

This issue was non stop action, and story telling. A Wolverine and a Daredevil may be a fun fight to watch, however, a Wolverine and Daredevil team up, is all that much more fun. As Laura Kinney gets used to life in the big apple, she finds herself popping claws in Hell’s Kitchen. A territory she knows is already covered. Yet, when there’s a mutant involved, and people to be saved, Laura isn’t going to quietly step aside. Especially when politics are also involved.

The Art

I’m an absolute sucker for good Wolverine art, and issue 2 was absolutely gorgeous from cover to cover. Every page was frameable art. From the action shots, to the brooding hero looks, to the covers. Every page was just flawless. There truly aren’t words to describe how much I loved the art on every page of this comic.

OVERALL GRADE: 10/10

Laura Kinney WOLVERINE issue 2 blew me away (pun intended). The dialogue continued in such an engaging way, while watching Laura and Elektra do what they do best. Throw some politics in there, nods to some other big time New Yorkers, and connect to the overall Krakoa story, and you have a perfect Wolverine issue. Much like Logan, Laura truly is the best at what she does. I can’t wait to see more of Laura Kinney as Wolverine. This is an absolute 10 out of 10 SNIKTS for me.
