After destroying and escaping Earth, many humans found themselves on a new planet called Exodus. Exodus was a planet controlled by man, which inevitably fell as well, causing most to flee. Many were left behind and find themselves fighting for survival. However, as things unfold and they embrace who they are, their fight is becoming about more than just survival.

The Story for Issue 6
Last we saw Rook he was still fighting Ursaw. With Direwolf captured, his best friend gone, and things looking incredibly bleak, we now see Rook finally stop fighting (figuratively)his birds. He not only stops fighting them, but begins embracing and respecting them. As he continues to fight Ursaw, Rook seems to embrace not just his birds, but also his past. A past he has struggled with as it left wounds that can never truly heal. As things escalate, something many thought was not possible, occurs. Shortly thereafter we learn something about Ursaw that makes Rook and Direwolf look at their situation very differently.
The Art
There are no words for the level of beauty and detail that goes into ROOK Exodus. However, I will try nonetheless. While issues 1-5 were gorgeous, issue 6 seemed to somehow step it up even higher. With rain pouring down, birds and lightening paint the sky. All the while explosions, up close shots, and futuristic technology are drawn and colored perfectly. Every single panel is a work of art.
Rating for ROOK Exodus 10/10
This was hands down my favorite issue so far. It felt like Rook has come into himself and is ready to face what he must face, in a way he’s never done before. As we see his character development alongside his birds, we’re also faced with an unexpected turn of events that makes this story so much more than it already was. I was immediately sucked into the world of ROOK Exodus, but now with this twist, I’m more excited for its future than ever.
