Marvel Comics is bringing back a classic Jessica Jones comic series.

Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Gaydos are returning to write a new Jessica Jones: Alias series. This was confirmed by Entertainment Weekly, and we did get some details for the new mini-series, starting with the description:
“After a tumultuous tenure as First Lady of New York, Jessica is looking to get back to basics — but Marvel’s premier P.I. rarely gets what she wants! When a simple abduction case drags her to the most obscure and bizarre corners of the Marvel Universe, Jessica finds herself tested like never before!”
Brian Michael Bendis did also have this to say to EW about the new series:
“Jessica has, since her debut, been something very different in my life. There’s something very emotional and intimate about the way [people] talk about her. It’s always been the best kind of conversation you could ever hope to have with readers. People see themselves in her and love her and root for her. All of that is in this series.”
Jessica Jones: Alias #1 releases December 23rd.
