Marvel Comics Reveals New Look At Maximum X-Men

Marvel Comics revealed new details for Maximum X-Men.

Maximum X-Men is out in a few months, and we just got a new preview of the first issue. Now, Writer Christopher Yost & Artist Tony S. Daniel are teaming up for this new series, and the series will be following the events of the end of Avengers: Armageddon. The first issue’s description reads:

“MUTANTS BY BIRTH, HEROES BY CHOICE!

After the cataclysmic events of Armageddon, who’s left to save the world from Avengers-level threats? In the absence of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, Storm and Wolverine assemble a new team of Earth’s Mightiest Mutants to face the foes no single hero can handle. But they may quickly come to regret that decision when the Annihilation Wave arrives on Earth!”

Writer Christopher Yost also said this to Games Radar about the new series:

“To protect a world that hates and fears them. The X-Men will always do the right thing, they’re fighting ignorance as much as supervillains. But in this moment in time for the team, humanity seems to be coming around a little bit. In a world without Avengers… who will save us?”

The interior art for the first issue was revealed, along with some new covers, which all look incredible. Maximum X-Men #1 releases December 2nd.
