Zach Cregger’s Resident Evil is coming, and Columbia Pictures has introduced an awesome popcorn bucket to celebrate. Capcom’s Resident Evil series focuses on zombies, gore, and the battle between ordinary citizens and the Umbrella Corporation – a pharmaceutical company focused on elevating humanity with medical advancements at any cost. Austin Adams stars as Bryan, a medical transport technician who picks up the wrong package. The package is destined for Raccoon City, and after a terrible accident, Bryan’s life takes a turn for the worse.
Regal Cinemas has announced a bucket that honors Bryan’s struggle. Regal has presented an actual organ transplant bucket – seemingly featuring a realistic heart that fans can use to get their inner zombie on.
The bucket is green and looks just like the bag from the film without the accident that leads to Bryan having the worst day of his life, and fans are here for it. Though many of them are focusing on the more obvious – what is it gonna look like when horror fans have to clean butter and salt and kernels out of a realistic heart replica?
Resident Evil’s 30th anniversary has led to everything from a life size statue of Leon S Kennedy to new toys including “Tofu” and a zombie dog, pictured below:
Fans would have to go to Japan to grab the Resident Evil toys (so far!), but Regal’s bucket seems to be available, and no current release date is available. It seems like a must-have for die-hard horror fans and for Halloween itself.
Are you excited for this new Raccoon City merchandise? Looking to pick up this bucket? Tell us in the comments and check out the trailer below!
Resident Evil releases September 18th, 2026.
