Darrington Press Reveals New Daggerheart Projects

It’s Gen Con Day 1, and Darrington Press has made announcements about new Daggerheart projects.

All-new projects are coming soon, and the team showed the roadmap for the next 3 years of the game. Now these projects are all different and will make gameplay even more fun. But first, we start off with 3 upcoming Youtooz plushies. 

These plushes will include: 

• Adventuring Ribbet 
• Beans The Bacat (A Half-Bat, Half-Cat From Daggerheart: Hope & Fear) 
• Badger (From Age Of Umbra: Sallowlands)

This November sees the release of the Daggerheart GM Screen, Fear Trackers & Adversary Deck. These new products will help enhance your games. They launch first to the Critical Role Shops & Darrington Press Guild Stores, and then to other Friendly Local Game Shops not long after. 

Now, the team at Bards Of New York are doing a new mini-series titled Voltaire’s Aces. This series is set within their main campaign, Dark Ages, and has the vibes of Ocean’s 11, Suicide Squad & Dragon Age. And the trailer for this new 10-episode mini-series is online: 

Roll & Play Press are doing a new book titled One-Shot Wonders: Daggerheart, which will have over 100 one-shots for every Daggerheart campaign frame across both the Core Rulebook and Daggerheart: Hope & Fear. The sign-up link is live, and if you pre-register for it, you will get a free sample One-Shot to check out.

Also announced new updates for the various VTTs that host Daggerheart, and that info can be seen below: 

• NEW: Foundry VTT has joined us as a digital partner for Daggerheart! Foundry Virtual Tabletop and Metamorphic Digital Studios are working directly with the incredible system modules built by Foundryborne to bring Daggerheart to life for Foundry VTT. FINALLY! This project would not be possible without the passion of the developers from Foundryborne. Initial modules are expected in Q4 of this year!
• Demiplane has been there with us from the start, and their Daggerheart offerings are only getting better with new homebrew and group tools that recently launched on the platform! Hope & Fear will release on Demiplane on August 25th, and if you pre-order a physical copy of the expansion in Critical Role shops  (US, CA, EU, UK, AU), you’ll receive a 20% off coupon to pre-order the Demiplane Nexus Digital version!
• Alchemy VTT is expanding their offering to Hope & Fear, bringing their gorgeous cinematic VTT treatment to the expansion in both a standard edition and an Alchemy Enhanced edition with immersive environments and audio! 

Darrington Press’ Chris Perkins is going to be GM’ing his own Mini-Series, Reign of the Weredragon. This is going to be his Campaign Frame from Daggerheart: Hope & Fear being played, and the players will get the chance to craft the big bad together. More details for this will be announced at a later date. 

We also have Acquisitions Inc news. The next episode will be at PAX West in early September, and it will be Chris Perkins will be DMing the Wedding of Jim Darkmagic. Then, later in the year at PAX Unplugged, Jeremy Crawford will be DMing the first episode of the new season. 

Finally, we got the info for what’s to come in the game’s future, and it’s a lot: 

• 2 Tentpole Projects Per Year, which can include settings, campaigns, expansions, adventures, and more!
• Free Digital Adventure Pipeline, which will include adventures and sidequests that hop genres, tiers, and styles of gameplay, being launched for free on Daggerheart.com. We have a ton of those in the works right now and you’ll start seeing them with our next drop later in August!!
• Standalone Digital Releases for Sale, like the Romantasy Campaign Frame coming this fall.
• Additional Game Accessories coming alongside all this great playable content!
