Minor Threats: The Cleaner is spinning out of the Minor Threats: Welcome To Twilight anthology series. The book’s all-star creative team includes:

  • Writers: Gerry Duggan, Patton Oswalt & Jordan Blum
  • Artist/Colorist: Mark Torres
  • Letterer: Nate Piekos

The book’s official description reads:

“Twilight City is a hard place to live—and an easier place to die. But some bodies never make the headlines. When the capes make a mess too big to bury, they call one number: THE CLEANER.

By day, David O’Halloran is a struggling small-business owner. By night, he’s the spandex world’s last call for cleanup—disposing of the un-disposable with precision, secrecy, and a price. But when his path crosses with the deadly and dazzling Diamond Dahlia, everything changes. She has a secret past with the legendary vigilante The Insomniac, and it’s about to erupt onto the blood-slicked streets.”

Writer Jordan Blum had this to say about the new series:

“When Gerry and Mark introduced The Cleaner in Welcome To Twilight, we knew there were more bodies buried in that fertile ground. Along with those rotting heroes and villains was a deeply human, personal, twisted, pulpy, gorgeous story that Gerry and Mark Torres needed their own series to tell. The Cleaner is one of the best examples of what a Minor Threats story can be, a point of view in the genre of spandex we’ve never seen, grounded by an emotional hook that pulls you deep into their world.”

Minor Threats: The Cleaner #1 releases November 11th.
