Dark Horse Announces Octopath Traveler Tabletop Role-Playing Game Rulebook

Dark Horse have announced a new (Tabletop Role-Playing Game) “TRPG” coming soon.

Square Enix is teaming with Dark Horse to drop the English Release of the Octopath Traveler TRPG Core Rulebook. This is using a 2D6-based TRPG system, so this will be a very easy system for everyone to learn. It will also come with detailed instructions, game sheets, and lore from the world of Octopath Traveler and Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent. 

The book’s full description reads: 

“Gather a team of adventurers to explore, battle, and build relationships within an engaging, lore-rich setting that takes place in the official Octopath Traveler timeline. Players can create characters with their own unique class and background or play as beloved characters from the games with pre-built, customizable character sheets. They can then embark on cannon, pre-written heroic journeys of mystery, action, and adventure—or shape the narrative from the gamemaster’s chair and work together with players to create unique stories through the vast magical world of Octopath Traveler.” 

The Octopath Traveler TRPG Rulebook releases October 6th.
