Dark Horse Direct and Middle-Earth Enterprises have revealed new LOTR figures.
These new figures are from Ralph Bakshi’s 1978 animated adaptation of The Lord of the Rings. Now, we are also getting both Bilbo and Gollum in the same style, and those figures are out in July. The full description for these reads:
“Dark Horse and Middle-earth Enterprises are pleased to present a 3-piece PVC Figure Set featuring Frodo, Aragorn, and Samwise from Ralph Bakshi’s 1978 animated adaptation of The Lord of the Rings.
Ranging from 4.25” to 6.25” tall, these colorful figures have been pulled straight from the animated film.
On Frodo’s quest to destroy the One Ring, Samwise is his loyal companion and Aragorn, Ranger of the North, their brave protector. Overcoming fear and conquering evil, together they embark on a timeless adventure.”
Now these are up for pre-order right now, and they will ship between September and November.
