The Pitt Season 2 rolls on, and we have a mega recap for episodes 3-6 to do for you. And we’re kicking off with Episode 3.
***WARNING POSSIBLE SPOILERS BELOW***
Episode 3 Recap

So we have a lot happening in this episode. Between all of the patients coming in and the new attending taking over for Robbie, it’s a lot of organized chaos. Meanwhile, we still have Langdon on Triage duty with Donnie, and it’s really nice to see that dynamic happening.
But the major thing this episode does is bring a real-life situation that happened in, and have a character connected to it. Oh, and the hillbillies we saw in the first few episodes are back in this, and we finally get to the bottom of what happened with that patient.
Episode 4 Recap

Episode 4 picks up with one of the other hospitals local to The Pitt sending a mass influx of patients to them for treatment. One case in particular hits close to home for me. The team has a man with Diabetes that came in, and we found out that he has not only rationed his insulin, but he hasn’t been able to get the test strips for his glucose meter because of the prices being so high. I feel this so hard because of insulin prices being so high in multiple states, and prices for test strips being more than what they should cost.
Episode 5 Recap

Episode 5 shows us what happens when another local hospital closes, and another has to take their patient load. Oh, and we also have problems with Louie. He came in, got a tooth removed, and was supposed to get surgery. But we see at the end of the episode that he flatlined.
Episode 6 Recap

We see at the beginning of the episode that Robby, Langdon, and the team try everything they can to save him, but nothing works so they lose him. We also see a psychiatric patient getting checked out, another motorcycle accident coming in, and everyone mourning over losing Louie.Â
Overall Grade: 10/10
These 4 episodes prove why this series is the most important Medical Drama on TV. It shows real-world scenarios, and makes them parallel to what the characters are seeing.
