Published:

Vault dwellers, another season is wrapping up in this season finale. Lots of things happened during this season, which whittles it all down to this. All of the main characters have given exceptional performances, and I can’t wait till the next season. It has definitely been an up-and-down road, all leading to this episode.

SPOILERS AHEAD.

Lacerta (Macaulay Culkin) begins with a battle happening, and he realizes that there is no note. The note says that Caesar ends here. He ends up killing someone to become Caesar. We hadn’t seen Culkin in a while, but, glad to see him back on the screen.

A message from Robert House (Justin Theroux) appears, and The Ghoul (Walton Goggins) is speaking to him. The Ghoul wants into the vault, and in collateral, House wants The Ghoul wants to him to wear some of the vault tech. Meanwhile, Maximus (Aaron Moten), outside of where The Ghoul is, is still fighting one of the death claws. Thaddeus (Johnny Pemberton) comes to assist Maximus and get the common people out of the way.

Lucy (Ella Purnell) is still looking at this frozen head and wonders what she needs to do with it. The head seems to be talking to Lucy and asking Lucy to destroy the head. Norm (Moises Arias) is still with the vault dwellers that he had gotten out of. The roaches that the two older ladies from a previous episode come out and start to cause havoc.

Lucy ends up running into her father, Hank (Kyle MacLachlan), who explains the entire plan of what Robert House was trying to do. Lucy is baffled as to what Hank is saying. Hank said that the device that Hank has will soon turn Lucy into a blank slate as far as memory.

Meanwhile, The Ghoul is still going through underneath where the vault is, and also talking to House about what The Ghoul did back in the day as Cooper. The little vile of energy means a lot more than what was said in the episodes before. The Ghoul comes to Lucy’s rescue, but he walks away and gives her the gun so she can choose Hank. Lucy uses the device that Hank was going to use on her on him. Hank fully wipes his memory and doesn’t even remember Lucy.

Stephanie (Annabel O’Hagan) is still held up in the office, but she has Hank’s briefcase, initiating phase two. Back to Norm, all of the other people in the vault have died. Norm is able to save one of the people in that specific vault. The Ghoul ends up finding the frozen chambers of his wife and child, but they are not in there.

Overall, this episode was intense and full of emotion. The action sequences built up enough heavy-hitting moments, and there is something far more sinister on the horizon. War is looming, and the Enclave is still out there. I cannot wait for season 3!
