NYCC 2025: The Latest Critical Role/Prime Video Updates

It’s New York Comic Con, and Prime Video and Critical Role have revealed all-new info for The Mighty Nein and The Legend of Vox Machina

The full trailer for Season 1 of The Mighty Nein was released, and it looks beautiful:

What I like the most is that the cast said during the panel that we are going to get to see how each class of magic works in the series. We will also see how all the magic plays a role within the series. Alongside all of this, we also got the rest of the guest stars for Season 1, and they include:

  • Anjelica Huston (Towards Zero, From The World Of John Wick: Ballerina
  • Lucy Liu (Rosemead, Presence
  • Nathan Fillion (Castle, The Rookie, Superman
  • T’Nia Miller (The Fall of the House of Usher, The Peripheral
  • Felicia Day (Supernatural, Eureka
  • Graham McTavish (Outlander, The Hobbit Trilogy
  • Ivanna Sankho (Hsoka, MEGAN 2.0)

We also got some news for The Legend of Vox Machina Season 4. Comedian and Actor Wayne Brady is going to be voicing Sam’s 2nd Campaign 1 character, Taryon Darrington. We also learned about additional guest stars for Season 4, including:

  • Kevin Michael Richardson (Lilo & Stitch, The Super Mario Bros. Galaxy Movie
  • Debra Wilson (Destiny 2, Star Wars: Outlaws, Nickelodeon’s Monster High Animated Series
  • Tom Cardy (Actor: Optics & On The Fringe, Composer: Stray Gods: Orpheus)

The Mighty Nein is set to launch on Prime Video on November 19th. Season 4 of The Legend of Vox Machina is coming in 2026 to the platform.
