For 50 years, Len Wein and Dave Cockrum’s Giant-Size X-Men #1 has been a pivotal moment in Marvel Comics history, forever altering the X-Men. Starting in May, Marvel will mark this milestone with a new event revisiting key X-Men storylines through a series of Giant-Size X-Men one-shots, including Giant-Size Age of Apocalypse, featuring a Revelations Backup Story by Eisner Award-winning writer Jeph Loeb, co-creator of the original Age of Apocalypse, and superstar artist Simone Di Meo!
Across five anniversary one-shots, the Revelations Backup Stories will uncover hidden lore behind each respective storyline and set up exciting new developments for the future. In Giant-Size Age of Apocalypse #1, Loeb returns to the iconic dystopian world he helped shape! Age of Apocalypse shook the X-Men universe in the ’90s, and now one of the era’s most influential creators is back to reignite this groundbreaking storyline just in time for its own major anniversary!
