Paramount+ Premiering Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender Globally On July 25th

San Diego Comic-Con is nearly upon us, and Paramount+ has announced the premiere of one of their most anticipated films of this year.

Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender is out globally on Paramount+ in just a few weeks. The new film follows an adult Aang and the gang after the Hundred Year War has ended. The film’s full description reads: 

“Avatar Aang, the world’s last Airbender, learns of an ancient power that could save his culture from extinction. With the help of his friends, he embarks on a global quest to find it before it falls into the wrong hands and threatens to upend the peace they sacrificed everything to achieve.” 

The film’s cast includes:

The film is also making its presence known at San Diego Comic-Con this year. The festivities start on July 22nd with Paramount+’s Press Play Arcade on the show floor. It will have games for select Paramount+ Originals, including the Avatar “Cabbage Cart Madness” game. The booth will run from Free Preview Night on the 22nd through the last day of the convention on the 26th. 

Now, on the 23rd is the film’s panel. The cast and creative team are heading to Hall H to talk all about the film, the making of it, and what’s next in the Avatar Universe. Finally, on the 24th, the night before the movie releases, the fan screening is happening inside Ballroom 20.
