Imperfect Women Episode 8 Review:  The Solid New Reality

Published:

Finally, the last episode of this limited series.  I want to first say, that this has been a very enjoyable series. Elisabeth Moss, Kate Mara, and Kerry Washington did amazing in their roles. The question still remains as to who killed Nancy (Kate Mara), and this final episode finally answers that question.

Mary (Elisabeth Moss) is still grappling with the fact that her children were taken away from her. She’s trying to get them back, but, it’s hard because of the child protective services case. Meanwhile, Eleanor (Kerry Washington) is trying to be a lending hand to Mary, but, it turns. This episode shocked me with Mary’s decision as to what she does. All along I was suspicious of everyone, because I didn’t know who wanted Nancy dead.

This episode gets quite emotional, as we finally figure out what led up to having Nancy killed. I was really happy to see that Mary and Eleanor were together to discover the truth. I’m not going to say exactly who killed her, you’ll have to watch to find out. I was not shocked as to who it was, and I kind of figured it out based on what we learned in episode 7. Mary and Eleanor also were putting the pieces together as well.  In the end, I am glad that the truth got out.

The series as a whole was a lovely mystery that was enjoyable from start to finish. As I mentioned before, everyone was a piece of the puzzle, and it all was put together in the end.
