In this issue of Ultimate Black Panther, T’Challa is grappling with a lot of things in his mind. Including this interactions with Ra and Khonshu. The story generally has T’Challa making a tough decision, and wondering about his future. It’s interesting to see such a strong character, doubt himself in a time where I was sure that he is strong and confident. These comics make me believe that everyone has flaws, and even characters are grappling with a lot of aspects of their life.
When it comes to story, this is a really good conclusion in my opinion. It wraps up pretty much T’Challa’s story, and I really hope that they give T’Challa another good story. There are glimpses of Okoye mentioned, and also Storm which was nice to see. I love that this comic has something that I can breathe a sigh of relief, when it’s all said and done.
When it comes to the art, I love Curiel does with the art. I love all the different hair styles represented, like Okoye’s hair to T’Challa’s hair cut. I even love Kilmonger’s hair, and I love how the hair is very textured. It seems that as the Ultimate Black Panther wraps up, overall it did a good job with representing all these characters.
Overall Grade: 10/10.
