Deadpool’s Arrival
The Merc With a Mouth shakes up Marvel Rivals to its core by exploding onto the scene with not one, not two, but three roles to play, being the first and only character able to switch it up on the fly from Duelist, Vanguard or even Strategist! Wielding dual katanas and pistols, both being used to either deal damage or heal your team, while being a vanguard allows you to throw out a shielding unicorn plushie that gives your team shields.
Throughout each match, you’ll level up and be able to upgrade your abilities and ultimate. Depending on which role you are playing, you’ll get a different passive buff when you use it. Even gaining new additions to your existing such as bombs and ways to make it harder to aim or even punish the enemy team for missing shots by doing extra damage for each shot missed. The better you get with Deadpool the faster he will begin charging his ultimate ability. Once used it gives you a counter of five when you hit five enemy players you then do obscene amounts of damage for the remaining duration of it. His Ultimate changes what it does with each role each one helping the respective role. Duelist does a lot of damage very quickly while vanguard helps the team take more damage and gives Deadpool a whopping 800 total health (shields included). With strategist, he passively heals in in a radius around himself. There’s also many upgrades for each role while he levels up.
In Conclusion, Ive gotta say Deadpool is an incredible breath of fresh air to not only rivals but the hero shooter genre as a whole! he brings some new, fixes some old and overall is a fantastic addition the rivals rosters, and you should definitely get ready to hop and check him out!
