I cannot believe that we are at the end of the episode already. It seems that this episode also was jammed packed of information. It starts with a backdrop of Nina’s (Zoe Chao) backstory, of how she came to be this amphibious person. Nina’s parents had her, and something was immediately wrong. She was born with her lungs outside of her body. Nina’s dad is a very accomplished scientist, and was able to make her something, so she can survive. A contraption that helps her breathes for her. When it comes to Nina, the only person who supported her through her education and her well-being is her father.
SPOILERS AHEAD.
Meanwhile the Creature Commandos crew are ambushing Princess Ilana’s castle, as their main mission is to have her killed. The Bride of Frankenstein (Indira Varma) is leading up this mission and you can see that she wants the mission finished. When they get into the castle, the Princess is about to swim. They realize that the only person who can do it, is Nina.

While this is happening Rick Flag Sr. (Frank Grillo), is finally waking up. Amanda Waller (Viola Davis) is glad to see that Rick has finally woke up. Rick still warns Amanda about what his team is about to do. Amanda goes and makes a phone call to intervene. It seems that she finally does not believe what the professor had said.
Now back to the crew, they finally have Nina swim out towards the princess when she gets to the water. When the guards see this, they try to attack. Nina had a knife in her hand and tried to stab the princess, but Princess Ilana ends up stabbing her, and killing her. The Bride of Frankestein is devastated, and visibly upset. Weasel (Sean Gunn) also has a reaction as well, and it’s just heartbreaking.
Later on in the episode, Princess Ilana returns back to the castle, and The Bride follows her. Princess Ilana said that Cersei was right this whole time. The Bride tells Ilana all about what her plan was. The Bride of Frankestein said that she is killing the princess because she had killed Nina.
At the end, The Bride of Frankenstein returns to Waller’s headquarters and ends up meeting the new team. It seems that some of the members are the same, but there are also new people. G.I. Robot (Sean Gunn) is back, and also Weasel. The Bride of Frankenstein will be steering this new Creature Commandos crew. In the end of the first season, it was solid. I am very excited to see what will happen in season two.
I give this episode a 8.5/10.
