Last night, the 75th Emmy Awards aired with host, Anthony Anderson. It was quickly explained by Anderson that the award show will be covering many iconic shows in history. Some of the television shows mentioned were “Cheers”, “Greys Anatomy”, “The Sopranos”, “Martin” and “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.” There were also many figures in television history that were recognized such as Christina Applegate who was given a standing ovation while on stage. In the middle of the award ceremony, there was an “In Memoriam” that honored people who had passed away in the previous year. Charlie Puth did a rendition of a mashup of “See You and Again” and the “Friends Theme Song” that had Matthew Perry at the end of an emotional memoriam.

But let’s not forget the successes of the evening for this year’s 75th Emmys were stacked in each category, with notably “The Bear” and “Succession” among the top winners. The 75th Emmy’s turned out to be a great award show and we congratulate all the Emmy winners of the night. Here is a list of Emmy winners from last night!
