Every year, the Macy’s Thanksgiving day parade happens. This year, the glorious reveal of Monkey D. Luffy, will be making an appearance. Monkey D. Luffy is the main character of the popular One Piece ,manga and anime series. The anime series by creator and illustrator, Eiichiro Oda. The manga and the anime series have become a fan favorite, of people who enjoy anime. Due to the popularity, it was decided to include the balloon, among other iconic balloons to float this year. The balloon is reported to be 50-foot-tall! It will be a celebration to see this balloon be represented, for all the fans of One Piece. I will be definitely watching along, with millions of others, to see the balloon fly. The premiere of the balloon will be on November 23rd, starting at 9:00 a.m.

I just wanted to take a minute, to give a sense of gratitude and being thankful for the Nerd Initiative team. I am so thankful to have everyone that I’ve met during this last year. Sometimes, being into the things that I’m into, I never found a true community, until Nerd Initiative, I believe I have found my people. This year, while everyone dines on Turkey and getting together with family, take a minute to think about what you’re thankful this year. Nerd Initiative will be doing some cool and exciting things in the future. I’m just excited to be apart of it. I hope everyone enjoys their Thanksgiving holiday!
