McK-Pop is Here: McDonald’s and Netflix Team Up

McDonald’s and Netflix have announced a partnership that will bring the epic rivalry of everyone’s favorite K-Pop Demon Hunter groups to a local McDonald’s near you.

A press release from McDonalds reveals that beginning on March 31st, McDonalds all across the country will become the ultimate battle arena in the struggle of Saja Boys vs HUNTR/X. This new battle will feature two all new adult meals and exclusive K-Pop Demon Hunters photocards that will unlock first-access content for a limited time.

McDonalds also promises that instead of just teaming up with Netflix, the campaign will bring the flavors of South Korea McDonalds connecting fans around the world with the film through the tastes and flavors of McDonalds restaurants in South Korea. Alyssa Buetikofer, Chief Marketing and Customer Experience Officer at McDonald’s describes the collaboration, saying “Big things happen when you bring two massive fandoms together, and this partnership was a natural fit. We found authentic ways to unite our iconic worlds — inviting HUNTR/X and Saja Boys fans into the rivalry in ways that feel true to the film and unmistakably McDonald’s.”
